5 years agoMiami Marlins infielder Miguel Rojas left Tuesday night's game in the third inning with an apparent injury. Rojas landed awkwardly running down the first base line and needed to be helped off the field by the training staff. Rojas had been having a sneaky good season as the primary leadoff man in Miami with a .291 average and .345 on-base percentage. He'd been hot lately with a .303 average and all four of his home runs coming since the start of July which coincides with making better contact. Since July began Rojas is hitting 35.6 percent fly balls compared to 26.1 at the start of the season and it's made him fantasy relevant in deeper leagues and NL-only. The Marlins should provide an update after the game.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
