Anthony Rendon Expected To Be Fine After Leaving Game
5 years agoWashington Nationals third baseman Anthony Rendon should be fine after he was hit by a pitch in the toe and left Wednesday's game. Manager Dave Martinez said Rendon told him the toe got sore during the game but feels better after icing it. The Nationals are off Thursday so Rendon will have time to recover from any lingering soreness and it sounds like he'll be back in the lineup on Friday. Rendon is having a career-year slashing .308/.401/.601. Fantasy owners can breathe a sigh of relief the All-Star third baseman seems to have avoided serious injury.
