5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Ariel Jurado allowed two runs in seven innings but got no offensive support and took the loss Wednesday. Jurado had pitched six shutout innings before a Jose Ramirez two-run-homer in the seventh inning gave Cleveland the only runs they would need on the afternoon. Despite the strong start, Jurado doesn't have much fantasy value. This start lowered his ERA to 4.74 which lines up with his .490 xFIP. He also doesn't rack up the strikeouts as his 16.9 strikeout rate is among the lowest in baseball. He's a decent streamer in AL-Only next Monday vs Toronto but can be left on waivers in most mixed leagues.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
