5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun went 2-for-3 with a home run against the Indians Wednesday. Calhoun hit a solo homer off Indians reliever Oliver Perez in the eighth inning of the second game of the doubleheader, it was the only run Texas scored in both games combined. Calhoun is now batting .286 with a .975 slugging percentage since being recalled from Triple-A on July 26. On the season, Calhoun has a .868 OPS with nine home runs in 134 Big League at-bats and should be owned in 12-team mixed leagues and deeper. Calhoun will look to keep things rolling in a three-game series at Milwaukee this weekend.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
