Antonio Callaway Suspended For Violating Substance Abuse Policy
5 years agoAccording to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport, Cleveland Browns wide receiver Antonio Callaway will be suspended for the first four games of the season for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. Per reports, Callaway had been appealing the suspension. NFL Network's Mike Garofolo added that he believes the suspension stems from Callaway being cited for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license last year. This could possibly be a reason why Callaway had been working with the second-team offense in training camp. The suspension gives Rashard Higgins a clear shot at claiming the No. 3 receiver role in Cleveland behind Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry.
