6 years agoLos Angeles Angels infielder David Fletcher will start at third base and hit leadoff Friday against the Red Sox. Fletcher's offense has nose-dived recently as the once-surging Angels have cooled off. The 25-year-old is hitting only .107 over his last seven games and is slugging only .274 over his last 62 at-bats. Fletcher has put together a solid season but his offensive consistency has been lacking at times. The infielder will not be a strong option in fantasy for Friday against Boston's left-handed starter Brian Johnson. In 128 at-bats this season against left-handed pitching, Fletcher is slashing only .242/.319/.359.--Joey C - RotoBaller
