Benny Snell Jr. Gets Lots Of Work In Preseason Opener
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers running back Benny Snell Jr. finished with just 26 yards on 13 carries, while hauling in 2 passes for 25 yards in Friday's preseason win over the Buccaneers. Snell didn't have much room to run but seeing him involved in the passing game was encouraging for his fantasy stock. After leading the SEC in rushing last season, the rookie is working to carve out a role in an offense that lost two of its biggest playmakers. Nonetheless, Snell Jr. only carries dynasty value for the time being, but if anything were to happen to James Conner, Snell Jr. would likely see himself thrusted into an early-down role.
