5 years agoThe Mets may have won their eighth straight game on Saturday against the Nationals but Juan Soto continues to prove that he's not only one of the best young players in baseball but is also becoming one of the best players, period. At only 20-years-old, Soto is still unable to buy a drink but continues to smash baseballs thrown by grown men, now with 24 home runs on the year, surpassing the 22 HR he hit in his rookie campaign last year. Soto is putting up nearly identical rates across the board as he did in 2018 but also has 10 steals on the year, doubling his total from last year. Soto and the Nationals have a tough matchup on Sunday, finishing out their series in New York by facing Jacob deGrom.--Nicklaus Gaut - RotoBaller
