6 years agoLos Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani has homered only twice since July 12 heading into the team's series opener against the Pirates. Ohtani is slugging only .396 over his last 53 at-bats and is slugging only .379 in the month of August. Ohtani has certainly proven this season that he can hit at the major league level but the fact that he can only DH this season has limited his fantasy impact. His value does get a small boost playing at home on Monday, where he is slugging .545 in 35 home games this season.--Joey C - RotoBaller
