5 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (back) is hoping to return to the lineup Friday after sitting out Wednesday's game. Tatis Jr. left Tuesday night's game with a minor back issue and was not in the lineup Wednesday. The Padres have a scheduled off-day on Thursday so the team is hoping two days off will allow the 20-year-old ample time to heal. Tatis Jr. is batting .317 with a .590 slugging percentage so fantasy owners are just as hopeful to see the rookie's name in the lineup Friday vs the Phillies.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
