Archie Bradley Blows Save Wednesday
5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks relief pitcher Archie Bradley allowed two runs without recording an out to blow the save and take a loss Wednesday in Colorado. Bradley was called upon to protect a one-run lead and promptly hit Trevor Story before serving up a walk-off two-run homer to Nolan Arenado. These are the first runs Bradley has allowed since June 22 so he'll continue to be the go-to option in the Arizona bullpen. Bradley walks more batters than you'd like out of a closer, but he makes up for it with a 28 percent strikeout rate. He should be owned and started in more leagues than he is right now.
