5 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. (back) did not travel with the team to Philadelphia and is likely headed to the injured list according to AJ Cassavell. Tatis Jr. left Tuesday's game with a back issue and was not in the lineup Wednesday. Initially, the Padres hoped Tatis Jr would be able to play Friday after two off days but now the injury seems more serious. He'll stay in San Diego to undergo further tests Thursday, but an IL stint seems likely.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
