5 years agoOakland Athletics starter Homer Bailey allowed two hits across seven scoreless innings during Wednesday's 9-5 win over the San Francisco Giants. He struck out seven batters while walking one. It was a fantastic performance from the 33-year-old, who surrendered seven runs to the Chicago Cubs in his previous start. Bailey remains tough to trust on a nightly basis, as evidenced by his 5.22 ERA through 24 starts. At best, he is a streaming option against mid-tier opponents.
