5 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (testicle) started in right field for High-A Modesto for the first time since getting injured. This was the second game Haniger has played in, going 0-for-2 with a walk. Haniger will see his workload increase slowly over the course of the next few games until he shows he can handle a full nine innings and will likely not be activated for at least another week or two. The Mariners thin outfield can use him back as soon as possible, though. Continue to keep him stashed in fantasy leagues if you have the room.--Joseph Magazzinich
