Sonny Gray Goes Five Scoreless Innings
5 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Sonny Gray tossed five scoreless innings in a 2-1 win over the St. Louis Cardinals on Thursday. He struck out 10 and walked three in the start. With the outing, Gray has tossed 18 scoreless innings, spanning his past three starts. Gray has been impressive this season, posting an 8-6 record, 2.98 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, and 154 strikeouts in 132 2/3 innings of work. He has really gone a long way toward rebuilding his fantasy value after a couple of rough seasons. Gray will take on the San Diego Padres on Tuesday.
