5 years agoArizona Diamondbacks starter Alex Young surrendered a career-high five runs over five innings against the Giants on Thursday night to earn his third loss in a row. After keeping his ERA fairly low to start his career, Young has now posted a 6.91 ERA over his last three starts against Washington, Los Angeles and San Francisco. The Nationals and Dodgers are high-scoring offenses so it's expected that Young could face difficulties there, but the Giants entered last night's matchup hitting .243 and averaging 3.7 runs over their last 10 games. Young will try to rebound in his next start, but for now owners should look at him as a matchup-dependent streaming option.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
