JuJu Smith-Schuster Continues No-Nonsense Training Camp
5 years agoPittsburgh Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster is the top dog in the Steel City now that Antonio Brown is gone. The 22-year-old is fresh off a breakout year where he caught 111 passes for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns. He's been all business during training camp and is working hard so the league knows his 2018 season wasn't a fluke. During Thursday's final training camp practice, Smith-Schuster out-jumped cornerback Artie Burns to complete a big pass from Ben Roethlisberger in full-squad drills. The USC product is typically going around the middle of the second round in fantasy mock drafts. While he is the top option for Big Ben, Smith-Schuster will have to deal with opposing defense top cornerbacks, giving him some week-to-week risk. However, Roethlisberger loves to overly target his top receivers, so Smith-Schuster provides a very safe floor.
