Max Kepler Hits 33rd Homer On Friday
5 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Max Kepler went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in a 4-3 win over the Texas Rangers on Friday. Kepler's fourth-inning shot broke a 0-0 tie and got the Twins on the board. The young outfielder is having a stellar breakout season, hitting .255 with an .869 OPS, 33 homers, 82 runs, 80 RBI, and a steal. He had been slowing down of late, hitting just .107 over his past seven games, so hopefully the homer will help him to heat back up at the plate. He will look to keep it going against Texas right-hander Ariel Jurado on Saturday.
