Nathan Eovaldi Gets Shelled In First Start Since April
5 years agoBoston Red Sox pitcher Nathan Eovaldi allowed five runs on three in two complete inning, while striking out one and walking three in Sunday's 13-7 win over Baltimore. Boston's rotation is a disaster right now so the team shifted Eovaldi back to the rotation and it did not go as planned. Over 36 1/3 innings, Eovaldi is 1-0 with a 6.69 ERA, 1.62 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts. He's well off the fantasy radar at his point, as his role is in limbo and his effectiveness hasn't returned either. It's safe to drop him in all formats and don't worry about picking him back up unless he really turns things around.
