5 years agoWashington Redskins running back Chris Thompson has received just one touch so far in preseason action. His limited involvement could be interpreted simply as precautionary, as he spent much of last season injured. On the other hand, for a guy whose fantasy value is limited to begin with as a third-down back, you'd like to have something more to go by on draft day than one solitary touch in the preseason. There is still time, of course, and Thompson could be more heavily featured in the "dress rehearsal" third preseason game on Thursday. Until such a development occurs, our most recent evidence of what to expect from the former pass-catching machine is a 2018 season in which he was ineffective even when he was on the field. Thompson can't be considered a solid fantasy asset at the moment outside of deep PPR leagues.--Chris O'Reilly
