Le'Veon Bell Won't Play In Preseason
5 years agoNew York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell won't play in the preseason, according to head coach Adam Gase. Gase said he was 99.9 percent sure Bell wouldn't see preseason action anyway, but seeing starting linebacker Avery Williamson go down with a torn ACL in their last game against the Falcons made him 100 percent sure to sit his new running back. Bell will make his Jets debut Sept. 8 versus the Bills, which will be his first live snaps since the 2017 season when he rushed for 1,291 yards and nine touchdowns with Pittsburgh.
