Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Returns to Lineup
5 years agoAfter missing his last two games with inflammation in his left knee, Toronto Blue Jays rookie third baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (knee) returned to the lineup on Tuesday, going 2-for-2 as the Blue Jays lost to the Dodgers 16-3. Showing no ill effects from the injury while collecting two walks and a single off of Los Angeles starter Clayton Kershaw, Guerrero owners can now exhale, as it looks like the knee injury was minor. Guerrero, who was heating up prior to the injury with multiple hits in four of his last eight games, faces another tough test Wednesday as the Blue Jays draw another ace in Walker Buehler.
