5 years agoBaltimore Orioles infield/outfield prospect Ryan Mountcastle continues to hit for Triple-A Norfolk. Mountcastle went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a pair of RBI on Tuesday and also hit his 24th home run on the season. Mountcastle is also hitting .314 and has 77 RBI. Mountcastle has shown how good he can be offensively, but the Orioles have been hesitant to promote him due to defense. Mountcastle has been playing outfield lately and has also played first base this year. Originally a shortstop, Mountcastle should eventually get a shot either this year or in 2020 at the latest and should be owned in dynasty leagues.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
