5 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Dustin May will move back to the starting rotation and start a game next week according to manager Dave Roberts. May had been pitching in relief, but Roberts said he will not pitch again until he makes a start. It is still unclear what day May will toe the rubber but it is good news for fantasy owners. May made three starts for the Big League club, all 5 2/3 innings long, and only allowed five runs total with 15 strikeouts before one terrible relief appearance skewed his numbers. In the minors, May pitched to a 2.30 ERA but only had a 19 percent strikeout rate. The lack of strikeouts limits his upside, but he is one of the top prospects in the Dodgers organization and is a good bet for a win with a strong lineup backing him. He's worth a speculative add in most leagues.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
