5 years agoOakland Athletics designated hitter Khris Davis was 1-for-3 with a two-run home run during Wednesday's 6-4 win over the New York Yankees. It was his first big fly since July 30, a stretch spanning 43 at-bats. The veteran slugger has had a miserable 2019 season, slashing .220/.290/.383 with 18 HRs, 55 RBI, and 49 runs scored. Perhaps age is starting to affect the 31-year-old, as he looks nothing like the fearsome hitter from a year ago. At this point, Davis is solely an option in the deepest of mixed leagues.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
