5 years agoTexas Rangers utility man Danny Santana is back in the starting lineup Friday after sitting out of Thursday's game with a sore hamstring. There was never much fear over Santana missing an extended period of time, but the day off may have been exactly what he needed. Santana has not been hitting the ball as well as he was early on in the season, posting an underwhelming .229 batting average through the month of August so far, but he does have five home runs and 13 RBI in that time frame. Feel free to trot him out as you normally would, but keep an eye on his production going forward.--Joseph Magazzinich
