5 years agoChicago Cubs catcher Willson Contreras advanced in his rehabilitation prior to Saturday's game against the Nationals, progressing to making throws to second base. Out since August 3 with a hamstring injury, Contreras has spent the last few days taking part in running and agility drills and could return to the Cubs lineup by early September.
