5 years agoHouston Astros outfielder Michael Brantley didn't take long to push his season-high hitting streak to 17 games, hitting a two-run home run in the first inning of Houston's 5-2 victory over the Angels on Saturday. During the streak, Brantley is slashing .463/.507/.731 over 73 plate appearances with a .509 wOBA and 230 wRC+. He also now has a league-leading .337 AVG on the year, as well as 19 HR, 80 RBI, and 80 runs scored.
