5 years agoTexas Rangers outfielder Willie Calhoun hit his 15th home run of the season Saturday in Chicago as part of a 2-for-4 night. Calhoun continues to be one of the hottest hitters in baseball with eight homers and a .617 slugging percentage in August. The top prospect is batting .292 on the season while with a very impressive 16.9 percent strikeout rate. When he does make contact he's hitting line drives over 20 percent of the time and making hard contact at a 39.4 percent rate.
