Trent Williams Unlikely To Be Traded
5 years agoWashington Redskins left tackle Trent Williams (head) is unlikely to be traded, according to head coach Jay Gruden. Williams has had several surgeries to remove a non-cancerous tumor on his head, but he is healthy and available to play. Williams is embattled with the team's medical staff and appears unwilling to play for the team. He has two years and $25 million left on his contract, but this stalemate looks like it could stretch into the season. He's arguably the best left tackle in the game, and his absence would hurt the offense universally. Quarterback Case Keenum was named the starter, but he doesn't have much fantasy value with or without Williams.
