5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor allowed four runs in 6 2/3 innings and took his eighth loss of the season Tuesday at the Angels. Minor was cruising along through six scoreless innings before a four-spot in the seventh knocked him out of the game. The final result is disappointing for fantasy owners but overall it was a good sign to see Minor pitch well after a rough outing last time out. Minor will carry a 3.25 ERA with a 3.94 FIP and just over a strikeout per inning into a must-start matchup with the Mariners Sunday.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
