Kareem Hunt Has Hernia Surgery
5 years agoCleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt had hernia surgery on Thursday, but he is expected to be ready by Week 10 when he is eligible to be reinstated from suspension. The surgery assures that Hunt will be spending a majority of his eight-game suspension rehabbing as he awaits his Cleveland debut against the Buffalo Bills later in the season. While he will be rehabbing, he will not be able to do so at the team facility, as the NFL determined he must vacate the facility on Saturday and may not return until the suspension is over. Promising running back Dontrell Hilliard will operate in Hunt's third-down role while he is out.
