5 years agoNew York Jets tight end Eric Tomlinson had five receptions on five targets for 40 yards in the team's preseason finale Thursday vs the Eagles. It was the best game of the preseason for Tomlinson who is fighting for a roster spot to help fill in for Chris Herndon who is suspended for the first four games. The Herndon suspension bodes well for Tomlinson making the team but he won't have any fantasy value as Tomlinson is more of a blocking tight end and will share snaps with Ryan Griffin assuming he makes the team.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
