Lance Lynn Solid Over Six Innings
5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Lance Lynn allowed three runs, one earned, and took a no-decision against the Mariners Thursday. Lynn struck out five while allowing five hits and two walks. It was a nice bounce-back start for Lynn after allowing seven runs in three innings last time out. The start lowers Lynn's ERA to 3.77 which is actually above his very impressive 2.98 FIP. Lynn is sporting a career-high 12.4 percent swinging-strike rate and is striking out 10.39 strikeouts per nine innings. He won't be a fantasy ace, but the 32-year-old right-hander is a startable pitcher most times he takes the hill. Fantasy owners may want to consider sitting him in his next start, however, as he'll travel to New York to face the Yankees.
