Cam Sims Sees Seven Targets In Preseason Finale
5 years agoWashington Redskins wide receiver Cam Sims led all his teammates in targets on Thursday night with seven. He caught one of them for 12 yards. This comes on the heels of a third exhibition in which he caught three of five targets for 48 yards. The efficiency was obviously not there in the finale, but that's 12 targets in two games and the most of any Washington pass-catcher. It probably doesn't mean much at the let's-just-get-this-over-with stage of the preseason, but that kind of volume could translate into deep-league PPR value if Sims is poised for any sustainable role in the offense. He's not on the fantasy draft radar, but it doesn't hurt to see how he's used in Week 1.
