6 years agoHouston Astros outfielder George Springer went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, a 453-foot moonbeam, in the Astros 7-4 win over the Blue Jays. Springer drove in four total and now has back-to-back home run games, including nine runs batted in over his last four played. Springer is finishing an excellent month of August strong, where he has slashed .314/.415/.524 over his last 105 at-bats. For the season, Springer now is posting a line of .295/.385/.570 with three triples, 19 doubles, 29 home runs, 77 runs batted in and 78 runs scored.--Joey C - RotoBaller
