Mike Gesicki Could Be In For Bigger Role
5 years agoDolphins tight end Mike Gesicki had a successful preseason, catching six passes for 79 yards in his three games. Notably, Gesicki's best performance was in the third game, when he played in seven drives with starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, catching three balls for 59 yards, including a 29-yard catch and run. While the Dolphins aren't going to be a great offense, head coach Brian Flores plans on running an offense similar to the one ran by his former employer in New England, with an emphasis on the tight end. Couple that mentality with an offense that has even fewer weapons after Kenny Stills was traded, and you have the making of a sleeper tight end in Gesicki, who has a current 251 ADP in NFBC.
