Anthony Rendon Continues to Make MVP Case
5 years agoWashington third baseman Anthony Rendon hit two more home runs on Saturday, as the Nationals defeated the Marlins 7-0. Rendon now has 31 home runs on the year and his 109 RBI is tied for the National League lead, while his .333 AVG puts him in first-place by himself. And seeing that he's only trailing league-leader Ronald Acuna by seven in the runs department, Rendon could have a realistic shot at the NL Triple Crown. Currently rated #9 on Yahoo's Player Rater Rendon has cemented himself as a first-round pick in 2020.
