5 years agoHouston Texans running back Duke Johnson was primed to be a lead back for the first time in his career, but Saturday's trade for Carlos Hyde puts Johnson back in a secondary role. Expect Hyde to see most early-down work, with Johnson coming in as a receiving back and sprinkling in a little early down usage. Johnson's pretty clearly the better back and should make the most of his opportunities, but the Hyde trade and the team's addition of another potentially strong slot receiver, Kenny Stills, will cut too much into Johnson's usage for me to be as comfortable with him as I was before. His upside before was in the RB2 territory in PPR, but you can knock him back to the RB3 range in your rankings.--Justin Carter - RotoBaller
