5 years agoMaking his first start of 2019, Oakland starter Sean Manaea (shoulder) was sharp against the Yankees, even as Oakland eventually lost 5-4. Manaea pitched five shutout innings, allowing one hit and three walks while striking out five. While the three walks aren't ideal, they're certainly understandable given his lengthy absence and were the only negative result on the day.
