6 years agoHouston Astros designated hitter Yordan Alvarez will start and hit fifth Monday against the Brewers in Milwaukee. The rookie phenom has been a monster all season and finished the month of August where he posted an OPS of 1.095. Alvarez has 40 extra-base hits through 65 games this season and is slugging .665 for the season. His .365 BABIP would signal a possible regression but the league simply hasn't figured out how to stop Alvarez yet. He deserves to be in starting lineups in all formats for the fantasy playoffs coming up.--Joey C - RotoBaller
