5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Mike Minor was brilliant Monday in the Bronx firing 7 1/3 shutout innings while earning his 12th win of the season. Minor scattered five hits and one walk while striking out five on a rain-soaked afternoon in New York. It was a nice bounce-back effort from the veteran lefty after he allowed 10 runs over his previous two starts. On the season Minor has a 3.12 ERA with more than a strikeout per inning and should continue to be started in fantasy in almost every matchup. He's a must-start option in his next start Saturday against the lowly Orioles.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
