Dede Westbrook Should See Huge Target Share In Week 1
5 years agoJacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Dede Westbrook is his team's best receiving threat this season, and Sunday's Week 1 meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs should remind everyone why Westbrook has been a popular sleeper pick all offseason. The Chiefs allowed more receiving yards per game than any other team in the NFL last year, and while the secondary has taken some steps forward, it's likely not enough steps to make a huge difference, especially with teams forced to throw to keep up with KC's offense. Meanwhile, Westbrook was just heavily in the brief time he and quarterback Nick Foles played together in the preseason, and Westbrook should be Foles' first option immediately. Westbrook could easily be a strong WR2 in PPR and WR3 in standard this week.
