Ezekiel Elliott Signs Extension With Cowboys
5 years agoThe Dallas Cowboys and running back Ezekiel Elliott have agreed to terms on a contract extension ending Elliott's holdout. The contract extension is for six years and $90 million in new money, with $50 million guaranteed. Elliott's agent Rocky Arceneaux said the star running back is in shape to play in the season opener against the Giants, but there has been no official word from the team regarding when Elliott will play. Assuming Elliott suits up, he's a must-start RB1 even if the Cowboys ease him back into action and split carries with Tony Pollard for a week or so. Pollard loses most of his fantasy value and has flex appeal at best in week 1 if he and Elliott share touches against New York.
