Ryan Griffin Listed As Starting Tight End
5 years agoNew York Jets tight end Ryan Griffin was listed atop the team's first depth chart released to the media after preseason cuts. Griffin will likely serve as the Jets primary tight end for the first four weeks of the season while starter Chris Herndon serves a four-game suspension. Griffin had a 50 catch season in 2016 but had mostly been a backup with the Texans in his six years there before coming to New York. Griffin had only 24 catches in 14 games last year and is just a touchdown-or-bust option for 4 weeks. Fantasy owners can look elsewhere if streaming tight ends.
