5 years agoNew York Jets kicker Kaare Vedvik is confident heading into a Week 1 matchup with the Bills despite getting cut by Minnesota after the preseason. Vedvik was competing for the kicker job with the Vikings but was cut after going 1-for-4 in the team's final preseason game. Despite getting cut, Vedvik is confident saying that there is nothing mechanically wrong, it was just a bad day. Before being traded to the Vikings, Vedvik was 12-for-13 in the preseason kicking for the Ravens so the Jets are hoping special teams coach Brant Boyer can ger Vedvik back to that level.
