5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Lance Lynn allowed three runs over five innings but took the loss Wednesday in New York. Given the difficult matchup, it was a good start for Lynn who struck out seven batters in the contest. Lynn's ERA rises to 3.81 but his peripheral numbers have been even better. His FIP is a very good 3.00 and he's getting swinging strikes at a career-high 12.1 percent rate. Lynn will remain a must-start option in his next start Tuesday against the Rays.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
