5 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Ramon Laureano (shin) is expected to be activated off the injured list Friday. Laureano has missed just over a month with a stress fracture in his right shin and will look to pick up right where he left off before going down. Enjoying a breakout season, Laureano was hitting to the tune of a .284/.334/.518 slash line and chipped in 67 runs, 21 home runs, 58 RBI and 12 stolen bases over 107 games. Laureano should find himself back in the starting lineup Friday night with the Tigers coming to town. Fantasy owners can feel free to insert him back into their lineups, but keep in mind he may be a bit rusty through his first few at-bats.--Joseph Magazzinich
