Kolby Allard Improves To 4-0
5 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Kolby Allard allowed one run in 6 1/3 innings and picked up his fourth win this season Thursday against the Orioles. It wasn't all good for the rookie southpaw as he allowed eight hits and two walks while only striking out two on the evening. Allard improves his ERA to 3.78 over 33 1/3 Big League innings with a 2.81 FIP that suggests he could be even better. He's been stellar of late allowing only three earned runs in his last three starts spanning 18 1/3 innings and has earned a win in each start. He's worth a look as a streamer as a hot-hand play in his next start Wednesday vs the Rays.
