5 years agoAtlanta Braves starter Max Fried surrendered one hit across seven scoreless innings during Thursday's 4-2 win over the Washington Nationals. He struck out nine batters without issuing a walk. It was one of Fried's finest performances of the season. He improved his record to 16-4 to go along with a 3.86 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 159/42 K/BB rate. The 25-year-old has been a fantastic fantasy surprise in 2019, and he'll look to keep it going in his next projected start against the Philadelphia Phillies.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
